Triangle Square – Founder, Board Member, Builder

Victor Kaminoff is a founder of GLEH, a non-profit housing corporation that provides a nurturing environment of housing, community activities and overall support for elder members of the Gay and Lesbian population who lack financial resources. Many GLBT seniors are without families to live with or care for them in their later years, and lack the income for proper independent housing. They are not guaranteed the ability to share public affordable housing with their partners. In fact, many partnership benefits traditional married couples are provided by the federal government are denied to gay and lesbian partners. Seeing this need, we raised $24 million to build the first affordable GLBT housing complex and community center in the world. Triangle Square, completed in 2006, now houses over 150 residents and hosts many social programs its community center. We are looking for new projects to continue to serve this critical need. Human Rights Campaign – Federal Club Member

There is a need to end discrimination against people regardless of sexual preference. Because of this need , Victor Kaminoff is an active member and financial supporter of The Human Rights Campaign, America’s largest civil rights organization supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality. HRC seeks to improve the lives of GLBT Americans, ensuring families are treated equally under the law and increasing public support among all Americans through innovative advocacy, education and outreach programs. HRC works to secure equal rights for LGBT individuals and families at the federal and state levels by lobbying elected officials, mobilizing grassroots supporters, educating Americans, investing strategically to elect fair-minded officials and partnering with other LGBT organizations. Project Angel Food – Volunteer

Many people in our community have life-threatening diseases and cannot receive proper nutrition. Victor volunteered as a driver to deliver food for Project Angel Food, a charitable organization made up of volunteers who cook and deliver meals throughout the Los Angeles County. Realtors have to stick together as a group in times of financial need and help one another. So at Victor Kaminoff’s we allocate a portion of every commission check we receive to KW Cares, our company’s organization that helps support fellow Keller William Associates and their immediate families if and when they are affected by a sudden emergency.
